Hi. I'm a Filipino-American therapist and former engineer who found my way to this work through a deep belief that lasting change happens when we engage not only the mind, but the body and the stories we carry about ourselves. My background gives me a unique blend of analytical curiosity and compassion, helping clients make sense of patterns while also creating space for something new to emerge.I work with individuals, couples, and adolescents navigating trauma, anxiety, burnout, grief, identity, and relationship challenges. I have a particular interest in supporting BIPOC, AAPI, and LGBTQIA+ clients, as well as those navigating the complexities of culture, family expectations, and belonging. My approach integrates EMDR, IFS, somatic therapy, narrative therapy, trauma-informed yoga, and other evidence-based practices.Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, insightful, and highly capable. They've read the books, reflected on their experiences, and understand why certain patterns exist, yet still find themselves stuck in the same places. I believe that insight is important, but it is often not enough on its own. Together, we create opportunities for new experiences that can help shift what understanding alone cannot.I am licensed in California and registered in Utah and offer both in-person and online sessions.
