Laurie Cousins

For more than 20 years, my work has centered on helping people understand and heal the deeper patterns that shape how they feel, relate, and move through the world. My approach is holistic, integrative, and trauma-responsive, drawing from mindfulness, somatic and bottom-up practices, self-compassion training, and root-cause healing approaches that honor the interconnectedness of the body, mind, and spirit. I have particular depth of experience in trauma recovery and working with addictive and compulsive patterns. I hold a B.A. in Psychology, and my work is informed by several decades of professional training, education, and practice, including my work as a mindfulness teacher with UCLA Mindful and as a certified Community Resiliency Model (CRM) Teacher with the Trauma Resource Institute. At the heart of my work is creating a space of safety and attunement where people can reconnect with their innate knowing and inner resources, deepen self-trust, and return to a greater sense of wholeness and empowerment. As a spiritual guide and facilitator at Wolf Connection, I facilitate Wolf Therapy, Women & Wolves, and other nature-based experiential programs serving underserved communities and vulnerable youth. I weave the wisdom of wolves, the power of pack connection, and nature with contemplative practices, offering another pathway into embodied awareness, untamed authenticity, and a deeper relationship with ourselves, one another, and the natural world. I work with youth, adults, couples, families, teams, and leaders, supporting people in cultivating greater resilience, connection, meaning, and lasting transformation.
