Lauren Eales

I am a licensed clinical developmental psychologist, and I work primarily with children, teens, and young adults. My clients may be navigating mood or anxiety concerns, self-harm, relationship/family conflict, or challenges related to school, work, identity, or social media. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your child, my goal is to help you better understand your experiences, develop healthier ways of coping, and feel more confident navigating life's challenges. In my work with clients of all ages, I've seen how a strong therapeutic relationship can create opportunities for growth, connection, and lasting change. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based treatments, including CBT, DBT, and trauma-focused therapies. I tailor treatment to each client's needs, strengths, and circumstances, helping them build practical skills and make meaningful changes. With children and teens, I also incorporate caregivers into the treatment process. Therapy doesn't have to be all serious conversations and difficult emotions. I value humor, curiosity, and genuine connection in my work with clients. I also believe therapy should be useful beyond our sessions, helping you or your child develop new ways of understanding and responding to life's challenges.
