Laís Granemann

Dr. Laís Granemann is a Licensed Psychologist in Maryland who specializes in working with trauma/PTSD, medical phobias, and psycho-oncology. As a multilingual (English, Spanish, Portuguese) psychologist, she provides individual and couples therapy for adults in Maryland, as well as neuropsychological testing (ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, mental health) for children, adolescents, and adults. With a focus on intercultural psychology, she works with immigrants, diplomats, and international students from different backgrounds who have relocated due to work, studies, or family demands. Trained in psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapies, Dr. Granemann offers a therapeutic approach tailored to individual needs. She practices from a humanistic, multicultural, and neurodiversity-affirming perspective. Dr. Granemann completed her undergraduate and master’s degrees in psychology in Brazil, where she worked as psychotherapist in private practice for over seven years, and received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Fordham University in New York. She has trained in community mental health settings and medical and psychiatric hospitals, including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, NewYork-Presbyterian/Gracie Square Hospital, the International Rescue Committee, and WellSpan Health. Her postdoctoral residency at the Kingsbury Wellness & Learning Group, a nonprofit organization, focused on neuropsychological assessment and child psychology.
